DOES NIKE OFFER A MILITARY DISCOUNT?
Yes, in appreciation of our service women and men, we offer a 10% discount—online and in stores—to all active, reservist, veteran, and retired US military personnel, and to the spouses and dependents of active personnel.
To get the Nike.com discount:
- Verify your status with SheerID—you’ll need to complete the verification form, which may require uploading documentation showing your status.
- After successful verification, we’ll provide a single-use promo code for 10% off most items on Nike.com.
- Use the promo code during checkout.
To get the discount at Nike, Converse, and Hurley stores in the US, simply show a valid military ID at checkout. And please note, the discount isn’t valid at Nike Company Stores, and some restrictions apply (visit stores for details).
FAQs
Can I use the discount more than once?
Yes, you can receive the Nike.com discount up to four times every 30 days, but you’ll need a new promo code each time. When you verify your status, you’ll be issued a promo code that can be used only once. When you’re ready to shop again, you can re-verify your status and receive a new promo code.
What kind of documentation do I need to upload?
If you’re asked for documentation, you’ll need to upload official government-issued documentation that shows your first and last name, branch of service, and your current military status.
How long will it take to get the promo code?
In most cases, verification is almost instantaneous. We’ll provide your promo code on-screen and through email. Occasionally verification requires a document review and can take up to 20 minutes—in this case, we’ll send you an email with your promo code.

We partner with SheerID—a third-party service—to confirm your eligibility through their verification process.
