Carnival Cruise Line offers reduced cruise rates for eligible military customers through its Military Cruise Deals program.
Carnival does not advertise a single fixed military discount percentage. Military rates can vary depending on the cruise, sailing date, itinerary, stateroom, and current availability.
The program is available to qualifying active and retired U.S. military members and certain honorably discharged veterans who meet Carnival’s documentation requirements. Eligible Canadian National Defence members may also qualify.
How to Get the Discount
Search for military rates when booking through Carnival Cruise Line, contact Carnival directly, or work with a travel agent that offers Carnival military rates.
After booking a military rate, Carnival requires documentation confirming eligibility. For most confirmed reservations, the required documentation must be submitted within 72 hours. For cruises booked within one week of sailing, documentation must be submitted within 24 hours.
Accepted U.S. military documentation can include a Leave and Earnings Statement, military retirement documentation, DD214 or DD256, or other qualifying service documentation specified by Carnival.
Carnival states that a Veterans Affairs identification card by itself is not accepted as proof of eligibility for its military cruise rates.
